MyAgora privacy

MyAgora runs Discord's own web app inside your browser using your own Discord login; nothing is sent to MyAgora's servers. Messages are kept only in your browser's extension storage for the last 3 hours so the board can be rebuilt.

myagora.chat serves the page; its web server keeps a standard access log (IP address, browser, time) for visitor counts only. No message content, no Discord data, no accounts, no cookies, no analytics scripts, no ads, nothing sold or shared.

Actions (send, reply, edit, delete, GIF) happen only when you click them, through your own Discord session.

Pictures, videos and link previews: the board shows images and videos from Discord's CDN and from the sites people link, and for links in your conversations the add-on fetches the public HTTPS page (X links through api.fxtwitter.com) to read preview metadata. Your browser contacts those sites directly, as it would in Discord; preview fetching is bounded and never includes your Discord credentials. Embedded YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo and Streamable players are those companies' players and follow their cookie policies.

myagora.chat is served through Cloudflare, which sees visitor IP addresses as any CDN does. A few settings (hidden channels, which chats you post in most, when you last swept the board) are kept in your browser's local storage, on your machine only.

Using a third-party interface with Discord is at your own risk under Discord's Terms of Service.

Removing the add-on: use your browser's add-ons page (Firefox: about:addons) or extensions page (Chrome: chrome://extensions) and remove MyAgora. Removal deletes the extension storage on your machine, including the kept messages and settings.
